hi I’m amy!
I spend a lot of my time "working," which for me is storytelling across many different mediums. Post Production for moving images, be it film, TV, digital (the list grows with technology) is where I have the strongest industry experience. With over 11 years in unscripted post and multiple years as an editor.
When I’m not chopping away at a timeline I can usually be playing guitar in one of my music projects
I'm also transgender and I try to do all I can to help create a truly accepting and inclusive world. I feel very lucky to be where I am today and be able to be open and proud of being trans. There are so many areas, industries, families, and religions that are openly transphobic and I just wish everyone had the same privileges that I do.
One day I'll probably write more about my experiences of being trans, but until then if you are at all curious about trans related things I compiled a short list of basic info. I feel the more people want to learn the better we all are as a society. If you are trans or questioning and want to reach out to talk about anything I'm more than happy to lend an ear, feel free to send me a message!
